Bus trip includes a narrated tour of the below six towns departing from Oak Bluffs, MA at 9:30 am

  • Oak Bluffs - Oak Bluffs is home to the largest marina on Martha's Vineyard, a bustling seasonal waterfront and downtown, and the historic gingerbread campgrounds.
  • Vineyard Haven - Vineyard Haven is the main port of entry to Martha's Vineyard and one of the three main population centers with Edgartown and Oak Bluffs. The Steamship Authority wharf is located in Vineyard Haven where ferries arrive and depart year-round. It recently snagged the title of the most expensive place to live in the entire United States, according to a study by LendingTree.
  • Edgartown - Was once a major whaling port, with historic houses that have been carefully preserved. Today it hosts yachting events around its large harbor.
  • West Tisbury - West Tisbury offers residents a rural feel and most residents own their homes. Many retirees live in West Tisbury and residents tend to have moderate political views.
  • Chilmark - The town also has six beaches; one is at Menemsha. President Barack Obama and his family vacationed in Chilmark, renting the Blue Heron Farm.
  • Aquinnah - known by its former name Gay Head, is the site of the most dramatic natural phenomenon on Martha's Vineyard - the Gay Head Cliffs. A must-see for every visitor, the mile-long cliffs of multi-colored clay are a geological wonder. The public beach where the cliffs and ocean meet is awe inspiring.

Aquinnah 1 hour stop for brunch and shopping. Enjoy the beach and cliffs.
